YES. I’m excited about this! It’s so important to love who you are and how you look. If you don’t love it, change it!! But I guess the more important question is, WHY wouldn’t you love your body? Societal perception? An unhealthy emphasis on the “perfect” figure? This is something I struggle with sometimes so it’s a big deal for me. I know I’m not the only one. Thank you, Nichole and Premakarini, for this beautiful reminder to love ourselves inside and out.

You share some powerful points. We have all struggled with this. There is immense societal pressure on us to achieve some unnatural image that is held up as ideal, and even though we know all too well that these are only digitally possible, we are still affected to some degree. For years I tried to attain this, and even when I was at that weight all I heard was “You need to gain weight. You looked better before.” You can’t win. What I am learning these days is the more you focus on love, you come into a natural balance with life + this shows through your body immediately. The body is a great mirror for how we really feel about ourselves + our life. Love catalyzes powerful transformation both inside + out: you can have the health + appearance that you want, that this is actually how it’s supposed to be, but you have to start with love first, instead of trying to force the body to look at certain way through external means {trust me: I have tried, it doesn’t work! lol!}
You totally hit the nail on the head Otiti. It has so much to do with the under lying issue…why don’t you feel you are worthy enough of your love!
Society has so much to do with it.
Premakarini and I will be sure to discuss this!

Whenever I fall in love with someone healthy for me, I lose weight. Naturally. It just disappears without any effort at all. Then it comes back when I am alone. And if I connect with someone who is unhealthy for me, I gain even more weight than usual. I want to learn how to love myself so much that I lose the weight naturally myself. How can I love myself this much? My first response to myself is to practice. And I do, but I feel like I must be missing something….. I do not want to need someone else to find me lovable to feel lovable, but sometimes I do. This has been a part of my conscious process for at least 10 years now & I am really ready to see what I need to do to make this shift.
I am deeply grateful for this blog post to open this beautiful journey for all of us. I plan to join you for future posts to see where we all can go together. So beautiful to share with you!
Love,
D~
Deborah!
Thank you for adding so much to this conversation!
So happy that you shared your experience of how your weight varies. This is so common, and has been my experience too, and I suspect many are awakening now to this realization. Relationships are such a mirror for us, its hard not to be affected by them. My intention for this blog series is to explore this in more depth and empower us to experience being in love with or without a significant other, and regardless of where we are at physically. In my experience when we consciously do this, then our relationships cannot help but be amazing as they are truly meant to be: mirroring back to us this level of love.
I know that Nichole has experienced much success in helping women to feel good now, even if they not at their ideal weight or fitness level, and just as you experienced: the weight disappears naturally. Recently I have made a pact with myself to love my body no matter what: extra weight and all + the same thing is happening + guess what my guy keeps telling me I have never looked better! What I am seeing is when we love consciously anything is possible. Its time to really explore just what we can really do!
So happy that you are here.
Love,
Premakarini xo
Deborah, first off you need to give yourself a HUGE hug for even being willing to see this reality.
So many women go through life feeling this exact same way but never actually see it in this hind sight perspective (because, well…it hurts). This is truly the first step to changing it. Awareness is KEY!
The tools from here are the easy part
. Thanks so much for bringing this up, we will be sure to address this soon!
