In The NEW

There is always the thrill of the new to show you what you have been missing.

Ever since I moved into my new condo {which just so happens to really be my dream treehouse retreat} I have been immersing in the new. Taking advantage of the unknown and using it creatively to reinvent myself a little {I have been pretending also that I am on vacation in a new retreat villa: highly recommend this tactic for your next move: less stressful, more exciting and you don't have to unpack right away}

Here is what I have been learning:

When you give into your intuition it can only be good: I intuitively knew that this environment would significantly impact the quality of my life and my work. Truth: its taken everything to the next level and some. Its so much more than I expected. I am rediscovering former passions that have been somewhat dormant. I am trusting myself more - and my experience - particularly my intuitive sense.

Living close to nature: best beauty treatment in town. My skin is glowing, I have more energy, I am even more relaxed and blissful. I feel a level of fulfillment that is incredibly satisfying. Its as if I am getting nutritive elements I was missing before: very interesting.

My writing has gone to a whole new level: this is, of course, always exciting. I have to say that as soon as I got here I definitely had to immerse in my writing and have all this exciting information for my upcoming books Intuitive Edge and Writing on Writing as a result of all this indulgence.

When you experience the new you discover more about yourself: Its easy to lose sight of who you are if you get stuck in repeating patterns. When you are put in a new environment with new stimuli and sensory experience, it opens up more for you.

"The only way to develop strength: get out of your comfort zone. Explore new environments. Realize your capabilities."

Moving is traditionally stressful because we are wired usually to resist change: This move I wanted to experience it differently. Being something of a nomad (6 moves in the past 4 years) I have put in some practice, but this move was the most fun by far. This time I intended it to be pure adventure. I only focused on the immediate need: what was right in front of me to be done. I took a lot of writing breaks. I just sat with the trees. There's still boxes to unpack but I am still deliberating about what to keep. I am using this move as the ultimate zen decluttering. A lot of stuff has hit the trash already. The feeling: exhilarating.

The thing about change: it doesn't have to be stressful. Mentally we may resist, but when you focus on how the change actually feels it opens up a new layer of experience. We are always changing and moving. The only difference is in how we approach it: whether we resist or accept whats changing.

I love that I am getting more in touch with who I am and what I actually need. One of the most powerful elements in Life Design is to explore what you need intuitively. And to act on what pulls on you the most. The more I trust this, the easier and more fun life is.

Intuition is the way you not only get in touch with who you are, it is also the way you upgrade your life in the most impactful and interesting way

Intuition: one of your most powerful tools in life

Let me know what you liked about this: its always good to hear your input and experiences. I love it when we share insights. And be sure to share this with your friends.

Until next Tuesday at Two,

Love,

Premakarini

    I always love to read your insights. Congrats on a successful move! We have to start planning to move in a couple of months. When I read this it clicked that I need to trust more, and tell the universe what I want. I’ve been stressing a lot about the move and having doubts about us finding the type of place that we want. I need to do a little more listening and a lot less stressing.

    I’m excited for everything that you are doing. You’re so inspiring.
