Can you make a difference? 7 reasons to be inspired + why living the life YOU love is so necessary

Today's creative adventure begins with the inside backstage pass to Ted Talks through the film The Future We Will Create: Inside the World of Ted, that features the entertaining + thought provoking Sir Ken Robinson talk that I have posted for you to watch below. If you have Netflix streaming you can view this TED {$4400 a ticket} event for free.

Let yourself be inspired. Live the life you love most. Soak up the many exciting, powerful ideas from some of our greatest thought leaders living their passions. This movie shows how powerful the connection + transparency is: how we all collectively make a difference.

Last night I was moved by this YouTube video that was shared by the talented Phantom of the Opera actress Sandra Joseph who is making quite the difference through her work + inspiring message encouraging people to believe in their creative capacity and to have the courage to live their dreams. You can see her Oprah clip + story here

What I love about this next talk is how Ken shows us how creativity is one of our most valuable assets and how our educational systems can potentially recognize + nurture this effectively, making a huge global impact in the process. Ken gives a powerful example that illustrates how our authentic creative talent often require unique learning processes and environments, something to be aware of if you are still wondering what your unique creative contribution may be.

“My aim…is to offer a richer vision of human ability and creativity and of the benefits to us all of connecting properly with our individual talents and passions.”

Sir Ken Robinson

{From the introduction to his book, The Element: How Finding your Passion changes Everything}

Sir Ken Robinson, PhD is an internationally recognized leader in the development of education, creativity and innovation.  He is also one of the world’s leading speakers with a profound impact on audiences everywhere.  The videos of his famous 2006 and 2010 talks to the prestigious TED Conference have been seen by an estimated 200 million people in over 150 countries.

And its already happening here

This month I have been mesmerized + inspired by Martha Beck's astounding + groundbreaking new book, Finding Your Way In A Wild New World. In this book, Martha shares one of my new favorite tools that drops you into effortless wordless perception, which allows you to operate at a whole new level.

What I love most about this book is that Martha calls us all to action as part of One Team + her latest book, in this regard, is definitely her most powerful.

You are part of this difference. Your unique + necessary contribution is required. Live your passions {all are important} Live your biggest dreams. Follow your intuition + allow yourself to be inspired AND to inspire others.

"Power Advice: Act as if someone you respect is watching your every move. Everything you do matters that much."

~ @SherrinIngram

Your voice counts.

We are counting on it.

Yours,

Premakarini xo

Thank you for being a part of this adventure

    I think that the key for people should be to be positive, even if they experience something sad, annoying or stressful.

    Isn’t he? Yes, I was delighted to find him through TED talks…he has quite the gift in how he articulates the power creativity has in our lives.
    Positivity rocks! I agree, I think that we always have a choice in how we respond + that the more we embrace whats happening in a positive manner, even if its not what exactly what we want, the quicker we can start to create what we want from this perspective – at least this is my experience! Thank you for sharing yours xo

  6. Otiti says:

    I watched Sir Robinson’s video yesterday! I was blown away by his insight, simply blown away. Creativity IS the lifeblood of humanity, and we need to give it the status it deserves: namely, very, VERY important. Essential, even. 🙂

    Totally so! you know this video talk has stayed with me ever since I watched it when I posted it a month ago or so, it really is this powerful. I agree: the more we value creativity in our lives, the more we evolve + develop, its really exciting, actually. We have so much opportunity right now collectively speaking, and you are such a part of this, Girl! xo {for those of you who dont already know: Otiti is an amazing writer as well as a good friend of mine}
